Team

Principal Solicitor

Kristian Bolwell is the principal solicitor of WorkLawyers.For more than 10 years he worked as an industrial officer for the Fire Brigade Union in the New South Wales Public Sector, as the in-house industrial relations lawyer for the Employee
Association for Qantas and International Pilots and as the Senior National Legal
Officer for the Maritime Union of Australia. With an Honours degree in Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations and a Masters of Aviation he is well equipped to assist you navigate a wide range of employment issues.

Solicitor

Hugh has been a solicitor at WorkLawyers since 2022, following a successful career in industrial relations, including as Senior Industrial Officer for the Fire Brigades Employees’ Union. Known for his strategic, results-driven approach, Hugh represents blue-collar workers, artists, executives, employers and unions, resolving disputes efficiently while protecting his clients’ reputations and careers.

A skilled litigator, Hugh appears regularly in Federal and State Courts and tribunals, specializing in:

Gail is currently studying an undergraduate degree in Law at the University of

New England. Gail has previously worked in the Aviation and Security industry and has a no nonsense approach to your matter.

Kit Yu is a Juris Doctor Graduate from the University of New South Wales. Kit Yu has previously worked as a Registered Nurse, and brings that same care and efficiency to your matter. Kit Yu also speaks Cantonese.

Tallulah is currently studying an undergraduate degree in Law and Arts (Politics and International Relations and History) at the University of New South

Wales. Tallulah has previously worked in the hospitality industry and undertaken research assistant positions, she has an ability to multitask and balance competing priorities to get you the best result.

Emily is currently studying an undergraduate degree in Law and Arts (Politics and

International Relations and Philosophy) at the University of New South Wales. Emily has previously worked in retail and administrative roles with and has developed an eye for detail.

Consultant Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Solicitor

Chris works as a consultant for  WorkLawyers as part of his own practice and commitment to helping people with Workers Compensation and personal injury claims.

Chris was awarded a first class honours degree in Law from the University of
Technology.  With a strong background in public advocacy, he runs a mixed injury
